Come along and enjoy everything singing has to offer
Singing releases “Feel Good” endorphins, making you feel fabulous, uplifted and less stressed.
Our Choirs are for people who love to sing but either do not think they can, or cannot sing very well, who want to join an alternative choir where we don’t hold auditions, you don’t have to read music, and we don’t practice complicated musical arrangements.
Improved Mental and Emotional Well-Being

Joining a choir fosters a sense of belonging and community. It’s an opportunity to meet new people, work collaboratively, and form friendships through a shared passion for music.
Cognitive and Physical Health Benefits
Singing strengthens memory and concentration, as it requires focus on melodies and lyrics. Physically, it can improve lung function, posture, and even cardiovascular health through controlled breathing.
Our FAQ's
These are the questions we hear most often from non-singers
who are considering joining a choir for fun and community.
Do I need to audition or prove my singing ability?
Most people worry about this, but in a choir for non-singers, there are no auditions. Everyone is welcome, regardless of their singing ability.
Do I need to be able to read music?
Absolutely not! Many choirs for people who think they can’t sing focus on learning by ear. Sheet music may be available, but it’s not required.
What kinds of songs will we sing?
Our choirs choose a mix of fun and familiar songs – from pop and rock hits to easy-to-follow classics. The focus is on enjoyment, not complexity.
Will I have to perform in front of people?
Performances are always optional. Many choirs have the option to perform in small, low-pressure settings, but you’re welcome to simply enjoy the weekly sessions without any obligation.
What if I’m really out of tune?
Don’t worry! The point of a non-singers’ choir is to enjoy the experience and sing together. Nobody is expected to sound perfect, and the group sound helps blend voices.
How much time and commitment is required?
Choirs like these are typically low commitment, with weekly sessions that focus on fun rather than rigorous practice. You can come as often as your schedule allows.
